Tangier to Fez via Chefchaouen 3 days Tour

Day 1: Tangier - Chefchaouen

Our first day of Tangier to Fez via Meknes and Volubilis Tour will start by picking you up from your accommodation or airport in Tangier to head toward one of the most amazing cities in Morocco, the city which most Moroccans and tourist choose to visit to relax and spend enjoyable time between the blue washed walls away from stressful big cities. This city is amazing to walk around, our local guide will show you its washed colorful walls, clean streets and fresh air, besides its kind people. Chefchaouen was built in the Spanish invasion of Morocco, so you will feel a Spanish print wherever you go. Originally, the name of Chefchaouen is taken from the mother language of Morocco, Tamazight; thus, the name means “look at the horns”, and the horns refer to the two huge mountains the city is located between. The night will be spent in a local hotel after enjoying a walk around the city.

Day 2: Chefchaouen - Fes

In the second day, we will spend time in Fez city, the spiritual and scientific city of Morocco, our professional guide will explain you all the historical monuments and ancient places, including places which most tourists like to see and learn about like the old universities and mosques, Attarine and Karaouiyin, besides Bou Inania Madrassa, and Chouara Tannery where you will discover how leather is made and colored with natural products, in addition to surfing in the New Fez, the Mellah, the Jewish Square and the Royal palace. At the end of the day we will drive toward Fez and spend the night in a local Riad.

Day 3: Fes-Volubilis-Meknes-Tangier

Our final destination, after a traditional local breakfast, will be Meknes where you will see the huge walls and the ancient monuments, since this city was previously a capital of Morocco. You will visit many touristic places and enjoy time with Moroccans and Moroccan traditions. Besides Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, you will have the chance to see the very old Roman ruins and take pictures with them. Our day will end with our driver taking you back to Tangier to drop you off to your accommodation or airport.
